Steve Reno has a MA in English from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, where he wrote his thesis on the use of comic awareness and narrative structure in the works of Frank O'Connor. Steve teaches upper school English, primarily senior electives, and sophomore world literature. In addition to being a member of the William Morris Society, Steve's academic interests include the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood (Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Edward Burne-Jones), Irish literature (W.B. Yeats, Flann O'Brien, Sean O'Casey, J.M. Synge) European Romanticism, Elizabethan and Jacobean Drama, Gothic literature, and the modern authors Tom Stoppard and Martin Amis.
